HMD Global Confirms Android 9.0 pie Update for all Nokia Smartphone
Google’s latest flavor of the mobile OS – the Android 9.0 Pie operating system has been released a couple of months ago. Android 9 Pie which has been optimized for smartphones with low-end specifications. Android 9 Pie brings with it several features including up to 500MB of additional storage available when compared to Android 8.1 Oreo. First google pixel devices were updated with this operating system. It has been available now to non-Pixel devices also.
HMD Global assured its users that they are working hard on perfecting the user experience of the update and will start rolling it out to four Nokia smartphones by the end of this month. Nokia 7 plus is the only Nokia smartphone to have received the update already. HMD Global assured that Nokia 6.1 and 6.1 Plus have been updated with 9.0 pie operating system. Moreover, Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco will get the latest update of Android 9.0 Pie OS very soon. It is expected by the end of November 2018, users of Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco will get update version of Android 9.0 pie.
