Pathao Insurance Facility for All the Pathao User and Driver in Bangladesh
From now on, the driver and the passengers will get the insurance facility. considering the safety of the users of Ridesharing apps, today Pathao has announced the facility at a press conference held in on Tuesday.
Pathao officials told that they signed an agreement with an insurance company named Doteline Bangladesh Limited. Through this insurance company, Pathao will provide insurance coverage on a special customs policy under the IR Insurance brand Carnival.
Chief Executive of Pathao Bangladesh, Hussein M. Elius said that the sum assured will be available if someone falls into the accident or if someone dies while the trip is being run. Pathao will give the full insurance costs. 50000 to 100000 tk BDT will be given as insurance coverage. Both the driver and the user can claim compensation from Pathao.
To take the advantage of Pathao insurance, user or driver have to report through App report section to inform the incident of the accident. Then it is necessary to submit the necessary information online. Pathao will pay the pay compensation after checking the issue. However, this claim must be made within one to three months of the accident.
Chief Operating Officer of Dotline Bangladesh Hasan Mehdi, Chief Technical Officer of Pathao Limited Shifat Adnan and Vice President Kishwar Hashmi were present on the occasion.
