Facebook Blocked Third Party Data Provider
Facebook blocked third-party data provider. They will not allow third-party analytics organization to use their data. Facebook is going to bring huge changes in the next few weeks. The organization says they will not allow advertisers to access information through third-party data provider companies such as Axikam Corporation or Epilene Data Management LLC fall into third-party data providers. Third party data providers are called Data Brokers.
“We believe this step will come in the next six months, it will help to improve the privacy of the people in Facebook,” said Facebook Marketing Product Manager in a statement. Since the publication of the Cambridge Analytics scandal, Facebook has created great concern for data privacy. In this scandal, Facebook has claimed that nearly five million users of data have misused by Cambridge Analyst in the US presidential election in 2016.
