HMD Global Launches Nokia 8110 4G ‘Banana Phone’ in India

Finally, the Nokia 8110 4G has been launched in India. This feature phone came to the world market long ago. This phone is popularly known as ‘Banana Phone’ for its colour and size. It contains sliding mechanisms from old feature phones. Like the JioPhone, Nokia 8110 4G will also run on the KaiOS operating system. So popular apps of  WhatsApp and YouTube can be used on this phone. HMD Global’s latest Android smartphone, Nokia 3.1 Plus, has been launched in India on the same event.

The price of Nokia 8110 4G has been fixed at Tk. 5999.  This phone is available in Black and yellow colour. This phone will be found to offline retailers across the country from October 24.

Dual SIM Nokia 8110 4G will run on KaiOS operating system. The phone has a 2.45-inch QVGA curved display. The phone has a Snapdragon 205 chipset, 512MB of RAM and 4GB storage capacity. However, this phone can be used to enhance the storage using a microSD card.

The Nokia 8110 4G has a 2MP rear camera with  LED flash. But there will be no front camera on the phone. For connectivity, Nokia 8110 4G has 4G VoLTE with hotspot, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS / A-GPS, FM radio, a micro-USB port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone contains a 1,500mAh battery. Nokia 8110 4G phone weight is 117 grams.
